Mo Froud :BSc (Hons) MBAcC

Hello my name is Mo Froud I trained as an Acupuncturist at the University of Westminster completing a three year BSc degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine. 

 I Treat all stages of reproductive wellness through pregnancy, birth, postpartum and all aspects of fertility. I also collaborate with local doctors, midwives and doulas to ensure I provide the most effective and comprehensive integrated medical care for my patients. I have completed post graduate training in fertility and midwifery specialist from both Eastern and Western Medicine in Pregnancy , Childbirth, Infertility, Gynaecology and Obstetrics.

 I  have two children and a large extended family with lots of children therefore it made sense for me to train to treat Children with Chinese Medicine this often doesn't require needles and children respond extremely well to acupressure massage. I also use Moxa which is a natural warming herb on children and they respond really well to this and love the process.I have completed a post graduate Acupressure Massage course to treat both children and adults, and use this in conjunction with acupuncture to treat Sports Injuries and all aspects of Musculo- Skeletal complaints. Low back pain, Knee pain, joints, swelling and inflammation. 

Acupuncture can be of great benefit to stress related illness and depression as it is holistic and doesn't separate the mind and the body. In my practice a large proportion of patients who come to see me for a physical ailment have underlying stress related issues and acupuncture has been of great benefit.

I believe my Acupuncture practice in conjunction with a commitment to continued professional development, and my previous experience as a nurse integrates the best of Eastern and Western Medicine and enables me to provide my patients with optimal and empathetic care. I work out of the Perrymount Clinic , Northlands Wood Doctors Surgery, and Mid Sussex Community Acupuncture all within the Haywards Heath Area. I am happy to treat any one living within West Sussex , I regularly treat patients from Burgesshill Hassocks, Horsham, and Crawley.  I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council.
